Hi, nice to meet you. We are Atallah and Abdullah Al-Zalabeh of the Zalabia tribe, and we run Wadi Rum Jordan Guide.
About us:
Our family still lives in the desert in a traditional goat hair tent. We keep camels, goats and sheep, so we move to different places depending on the season to find places where our animals can graze.
As children, we learned about the plants and animals that live in the desert, how to survive, how to find water and pasture for the animals, and about the secret roads that are known only by the Bedouin.
We are happy to share with you the rich history of Wadi Rum, which has been a much frequented caravan route and home to many different people for thousands of years.
